Dear Valued Client
As you are all aware from President Ramaphosa’s address on Monday, it has been decided to enforce a nation-wide lock-down for 21 days (excluding essential services) with effect from midnight on Thursday, 26 March 2020. This is because of the rapid increase in the number of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases in South Africa.
We believe that President’s decision is a bold and brave one and certainly the right decision under the circumstances. The Executive team & Board members fully support the measures being implemented.
Therefore, PackSolve (PTY) Ltd will be temporarily shut for a period of 21-days ending at midnight on 16 April 2020, to stop the spread COVID19-Coronavirus. We will reopen on Friday, 17 April 2020.
This lockdown directly impacts our factories and offices and supply of our products to you will therefore be delayed. We trust that you understand that this situation is beyond our control and, whilst we were already actively implementing counter measures and working additional hours to increase output ahead of expected disruptions, the acceleration of the virus infection rate within our borders meant that the lockdown was implemented much sooner than expected. As soon as we are able to re-open our facilities, we will work tirelessly to catch up on all of our commitments.
We will have a few employees from all departments that will be working from home during the lock-down period to support the business operations, our office landline will be on voicemail, they will be contactable on their cellphone.
