PackSolve is one of the largest, black-owned, diversified industrial packaging groups in the Southern African region. We specialise in wooden packaging (crating for heavy industry and mining), steel drum manufacturing (juice concentrate) and packing solutions for the steel industry, which are all involved in the South African export market.

Sustainability is a primary focus area for the PackSolve Group and the company acknowledges its impacts on the environment and therefore provides processes to minimize these impacts. Our management systems guide our waste programs for paper, steel, timber and plastic. Our timber purchases are from sustainable resources, and our plastics and steel are fully recyclable.
Our drum division take sustainability to new heights, we have designed and developed technology and a drum product that is reusable. A comprehensive LCA was completed by EY – Rotterdam with SGS, providing a third-party audit of our LCA. The drums we sell are 24% less impactful on the environment in comparison to a standard drum.
